TEAROAD SOILON is an eco-friendly mesh filter made from plant-derived materials. Under specific conditions, it undergoes hydrolysis and is subsequently biodegraded by microorganisms into water and carbon dioxide. A beverage filter designed with both people and the environment in mind.

1. This tea bag filter is made from a mesh woven with polylactic acid (PLA) fibers derived from plant starch through lactic acid fermentation and polymerization.
2. Under specific conditions *1, it undergoes hydrolysis and is subsequently biodegraded by microorganisms into water and carbon dioxide.
3. Featuring uniform mesh openings and excellent water permeability, it is ideal for tea bags containing loose-leaf tea.
4. SOILON has received the Biodegradable Biomass Plastics mark *2 in Japan, and industrial compostability certifications *3 in Europe and the United States.
